Nordic Walking is a low impact walking exercise, using specific poles to engage the upper body and assist with motion. It is suitable for all fitness levels and abilities and with correct instruction can be beneficial for chronic disease management and rehabilitation.
Nordic Walking sessions are run by Exercise Physiologist Leeah Cooper. Leeah a certified nordic walking instructor as well as an experienced Accredited Exercise Physiologist with a passion for trail running, the great outdoors and assisting clients make physical activity part of their lives.
Leeah is availble for 1:1 sessions by appointment. She is also taking expressions of interest for a class. The one hour class will involve tailored individual advice, in a small group setting & a friendly, social environment. The class is suitable for people of varying fitness levels, however if you are new to Nordic Walking we require you to have a 1:1 assessment prior to joining the group to ensure it is appropriate for your needs.
